What is a Spin Class?
A spin class, for all levels of ability, is a high intensity cycling workout that uses stationary bikes with a heavy, weighted flywheel linked to the pedals. The result is a fixed gear bike (like a track bike) where your legs are constantly moving – you simply can’t stop pedalling and that means every second goes in to your workout!
Our spin classes last for 45 minutes and are led by one of our team of instructors, who offer their own individual brand of spin class. They use a variety of music programmes with a sound to light system to provide a fun but intensive low impact class. This type of high intensity interval training (HIIT), is suitable for all fitness levels and is regarded as one of the most effective methods of exercise. The feedback from members so far has been fantastic!
Since the opening of our studio in October 2017 demand has been so high we have increased not only the number of bikes available but also they number of classes on offer throughout the week. Classes are available 7 days a week from early morning, during the daytime and in the evening to provide something for everyone.
